Natural Art Images: Image Galleries - The Collections Gallery

The Collections Gallery gives you the option to view images organized into thematic collections. Some of these collections are gear-based, others are geographically-based. And, like all images on this website, every image in each collection includes the full backstory behind its capture and processing. To access the information about each image, just click on the tabs (In the Field, Behind the Camera, etc.) below the main image viewing window. The gear-based collections contain a LOT of technical information that should interest even the most hard-core camera geeks (I should know!) - you can access that info by clicking on the "In the Field" tab below each image.

Choosing A Collection: To view images in a specific collection simply select any of the options in the left-hand pictoral menu. Here's a quick field guide outlining what you'll find within each collection...

• The "Nikon Z 6II" Collection: The "Nikon Z 6II" Collection contains images captured when I first began testing and shooting the Nikon Z 6II. Because I am primarily a wildlife shooter the commentaries associated with these images focus on my thoughts about the performance of the Z 6II as a general-purpose wildlife camera. You won't have to spend too much time in this gallery to discover how much I like the Z 6II. Expect the number of images in this gallery to grow over time...

• The "Nikon Z 7II" Collection: The "Nikon Z 7II" Collection is pretty much like the Z 6II gallery, except all the images were captured with Nikon's "other" 2nd generation full-frame mirrorless body - the Z 7II. And, again, my emphasis in the image commentaries is on how well the Z 7II functions as a wildlife camera. This number of images in this gallery will also increase over time.

• The "Nikon Z 9" Collection: The "Nikon Z 9" Collection is, at the time of this writing in early May of 2021, only a harbinger of things to come. Currently we don't know much about the Z 9...including when it will arrive. But when mine arrives, expect this collection to kick into life pretty fast! ;-)

• The Great Bear Collection: The Great Bear Collection represents my best attempt to capture the essence of the largest intact temperate rainforest left on earth - BC's Great Bear Rainforest. Misty, moody, and wild - the Great Bear is simply unparalleled in species diversity, species abundance, and ethereal beauty. Mother Nature at her best...

Enjoy your journey through these collections - and don't forget to read about the full story behind each image.

Cheers...
