Natural Art: The Photography of Brad Hill

Natural Art Images: Image Galleries - The Collections Gallery

The Collections Gallery gives you the option to view images organized into thematic collections. Some collections are geographically based, others are an aggregate of my favourite images over a period of time. And, like all images on this website, every image in each collection includes the full backstory behind its capture and processing!

Choosing A Collection: To view images in a specific collection simply select any of the options in the left-hand pictoral menu. Here's a quick field guide outlining what you'll find within each collection...

• The "Best Of..." Collection: The "Best of..." Collection contains my personal 6 favourite images captured during each calendar year. The images in this collection aren't necessarily my best-selling prints or stock photos or most-viewed images of the year - they're just shots that really struck a chord with me and I return to time and time again. I initiated this collection in late 2014 and it will expand annually. If I find time (when pigs fly?), I may go back into my archives and back into time and pull my favs from previous years.

• The Coastal BC Collection: The Coastal BC Collection celebrates the wildlife and landscapes found along British Columbia's incomparable Pacific coast. There are many, many coastlines on Planet Earth, but you'd be hard-pressed to find another that offers up the number and diversity of scenes of abundant wildlife within jaw-dropping settings and backdrops that Coastal BC delivers time and time again!

• The Khutzeymateen Collection: In the Khutzeymateen Collection you'll find captivating images of ALL the wildlife and scenes found within the world-famous Khutzeymateen Grizzly Sanctuary. While the Khutzeymateen is known as one of the best places on earth to capture intimate images of grizzlies in a pristine environment, there are also a number of other species of wildlife - and moody, ethereal scenery - found there. This collection is dedicated to that entire ecosystem!

• The Great Bear Collection: The Great Bear Collection represents my best attempt to capture the essence of the largest intact temperate rainforest left on earth - BC's Great Bear Rainforest. Misty, moody, and wild - the Great Bear is simply unparalleled in species diversity, species abundance, and ethereal beauty. Mother Nature at her best...

• The Kootenays: The Kootenays Collection offers images of the fauna, flora, and landscapes from southeast British Columbia's Kootenay region. The habitats and ecosystems in this mountainous region vary from near-desert to interior rainforest - with almost everything in-between. The only denominator is natural beauty. It's my home.

Enjoy your journey through these collections - and don't forget to read about the full story behind each image.
